As a subscriber, you have access to all versions available since version 24. Simply install the desired version from your client portal. You will always be up to date.

You have a client portal where you can find your different subscriptions and their details (renewal date, invoices, etc.). From this portal, you can install the different software products on your computer.

This portal also allows you to subscribe to other products or to manage your payment methods.

Yes. You can install your software on multiple computers and simply switch from one computer to another. When your software is running on one computer, you cannot use it simultaneously on another.

One-time initial fees are paid only once at the beginning of your subscription. One-time initial fees include the cost of the technical configuration required to access the software.

If you have a standard (dongle-based) license, you can benefit from a discount on these fees.

Your subscription period is defined by your subscription plan. The subscription is automatically renewed at the end of the initial period. You can cancel your subscription at any time, subject to 3 months' notice. Details of cancellation conditions can be found in our GTC.

Owning dongle-based licenses entitles you to a discount on the one-time initial fees.
You can keep these dongles.
You will receive an update procedure for each dongle.
By completing this procedure, you indicate that the dongle-based license has been converted to a subscription-based version, which validates the discount.
These dongles are only useful if you need to use an old version (23 and earlier).
Your subscription will allow you to run versions 24 and later.

Yes. You still benefit from 15 requests per subscription year and per seat.

No. Simply log in with your email address and password.

Yes, you retain ownership of your all the elements you create in your projects. You can save projects locally, on a server or in the cloud, as you choose.

Yes, you can continue to distribute the applications you have created during your subscription period.

Yes, you can. Just note that a one-time initial fee will be applied to any new subscription.

Yes, you can exchange a damaged dongle. An exchange fee will be charged, contact us to learn more. You can also convert your dongle-based license to a subscription, and get rid of all the risks of dongle-based licenses.

The security key is a physical device, in the form of a USB key, that guarantees access and continuity of use of your development tools.

For ecological reasons, we have chosen to reuse the device we used to call "dongle" and transform it into a security key.

If you have WINDEV Suite, WINDEV, WEBDEV or WINDEV Mobile subscription, you probably already have a key associated with these products. Some of these keys may already have been downgraded, while others may still need to be migrated.

Once converted, this key becomes your official security key.

Important: This process is irreversible.

This security key is very important and it is strongly recommended to keep it in a secure place, such as a safe.

It is part of a global strategy based on quality and service continuity, complementing the subscription model.

Some users also wonder what would happen if PC SOFT ran into difficulties or went bankrupt. In this respect, PC SOFT is part of the CSI group, one of the world's largest software publishing groups, which guarantees a high degree of stability and continuity.

If you activate the security key option while your subscription is active, you can update the security key to the the latest version supported in your subscription.

As soon as you activate the security key option, we recommend that you load the version corresponding to your subscription onto the key.

Then, as long as your subscription is active and the security key option is activated, you can update the key at any moment.

If you cancel your subscription, the key will remain in the latest version installed.

Please note that you must update the security key to the latest version every year. You can do this at any time.

Whether you activate security key now or later, access is supported from version 2026.

For versions 24 to 2025, access to projects still depends on the subscription.

The security key should be kept in a secure place.

Pricing is as follows:

• 50% of the subscription cost in the year of purchase.
• 25% of the subscription cost per year to update the key.

Security keys can be activated for single-user WINDEV dongles in version 28, 2024 or 2025; and also for WINDEV dongles already converted to a subscription plan.

The security key will be available in June 2026.
