WHICH DO YOU PREFER: TABLE OR FILE? Over time, WINDEV has developed its own vocabulary. In version 2025, you can select the vocabulary you wish to use. The most typical example in the context of databases is "data file", which is often referred to as "table". 170 N e w W D W B WM YOU CHOOSE Some proprietary terms can now be replaced by more generic terms. The environment then adapts to the selected vocabulary and adjusts input suggestions, the terms used in the 7-tab windows, etc. WLanguage allows you to code with the vocabulary of your choice (see new feature 172). The help system also uses the chosen vocabulary.
