Benefit of this new feature in version 2024 : Flexible UIs NEW CELL CONTROL 217 N e w f e a t u r e W D W B WM WINDEV’S CELL CONTROL: AN INTUITIVE CONTAINER WINDEV 2024’s new Cell control makes it possible to group a set of controls together. This allows handling them simultaneously, in the editor and programmatically. A style can be applied to the entire Cell control, so that all the controls it contains have the same characteristics: frame, background color, etc. A Cell can also group controls that will be used in a Flexbox container, and which will therefore be positioned in fixed coordinates in the cell. Cell controls can have several planes, independently of the host window. The Cell control can be resized to fit its contents: the Cell control automatically expands when the controls in the cell expand. To improve its cross-platform capabilities, this control behaves just like WEBDEV’s Cell control.
