This mode is called TalkBack on Android and VoiceOver on iOS. WINDEV Mobile 2024 enables you to use these modes. By default, each control now includes a generic description. You can customize this description where necessary. Accessibillity features in the 7-tab window The generic description is the default label or hint text of the Edit control. You can edit this description either via the different options of the 7-tab window, or using the new ..Accessibil- ity..Description , ..Accessibility..DecorativeContent , ..Accessibility..ReadOrder properties. Benefit of this new feature in version 2024 : Customize alternative text 502 N e w f e a t u r e W D W B WM INTERACTIVITY This accessibility mode also allows users to interact with the appli- cation via specific standard gestures: • simple tap to select and read the content of a control, • double tap to perform the action, • scroll with 2 or 3 fingers, etc. In this accessibility mode, entering an Edit control activates the microphone of the device (automatically or with a tap) and enables the user to dictate text, which is then filled in by the speech rec- ognition algorithm.
