How does your training work?

PCSoft does everything possible to make it easier for you to prepare for and complete your training. Below is a brief description of the three stages of your training: before, during, and after.

In-person training

Before your training:

Immediately after PCSoft confirms your registration, you will receive a registration confirmation via email, along with all the practical information you need to ensure your training goes smoothly: the course title, dates, location, a list of hotels, parking options, etc.

About ten days before the training begins, you will receive your joining instructions.

Accessibility for People with Disabilities:

PCSoft is particularly committed to including people with disabilities in its training programs. Learn more

Rules and Regulations:

On the day of your training:

Trainees are welcomed into a friendly and professional environment, with all the equipment, resources, and support necessary for the training to proceed smoothly, provided by the instructors and/or the training center director at:

  • 9:15 a.m. on the first day
  • 9:00 a.m. on the following days

During your training:

A typical day of training: (Paris time)

9:00 a.m.:
Start of the training (9:15 a.m. on the first day)
10:30 a.m.:
time for a break and conversation
12:30 p.m.:
lunch break (lunch provided by PCSoft)
1:30 p.m.:
resumption of classes
3:30 p.m.:
time for a break and conversation
5:00 p.m.:
End of training (5:30 p.m. on the first day)

The trainer uses the course support material, adapted to the objectives of the training session.

This course support material is divided into subjects.

Each subject is based on 3 axes:

  • theoretical presentation of the topic by the trainer, followed by any questions and answers
  • application exercise (individual work) within a set time limit
the trainer remains available to help and provide additional explanations.
  • correction of the exercise, with all necessary explanations and any questions and answers
the trainer makes sure that each trainee has fully understood the exercise before continuing.

All of these methods and exercises will help you put into practice what you have learned, when you return to your company.

After your training:

At the end of the training course, participants' mastery of the skills is assessed through a multiple-choice test.

Then you sign the attendance sheet; these two documents are then automatically sent to you by email.

You are then invited to provide your feedback and ratings on the quality of your training.

If an improvement is needed, PCSoft will contact you to implement an appropriate solution.

A training certificate is issued to each trainee.

Upon completion of the training, the invoice and attendance sheet are sent, primarily by email or through dedicated portals.

Online Training

Before your training:

Immediately after PCSoft approves your registration, you will receive a registration confirmation via email, along with all the practical information you need to ensure your training goes smoothly: the course title, dates, course materials in PDF format, login credentials to join the training session, etc.

Technically, to conduct the online training, we use the GoTo Meeting® and RustDesk software:

  • GoTo Meeting® lets you start a video conference (microphone, webcam)
  • RustDesk allows you to remotely control a PCSoft machine that has been specially configured for training purposes (you do not necessarily need to have the WINDEV or WEBDEV software installed on your local machine).

RustDesk, with the host already configured, will be provided by the instructor on the first day of the training. Therefore, you do not need to install it beforehand.

Communication between machines will be fully encrypted using an encryption key negotiated via the relay server srvrustdesk.pcsoft.fr. No other third-party servers will be used.

To ensure it works properly, all you need is:

  • A good internet connection.
  • A PC equipped with a webcam and a headset/microphone in order to be able to communicate in good conditions.
  • A PC equipped with two or more monitors.
  • For remote access, certain ports (21115, 21116, 21117, 21118, 21119) must be open for outbound traffic on your computer.
