Thematic Training · 2 days (14 h)
This training course covers integrating generative AI into your business applications: the environment's AI Companion, the AI Chat control and WLangage Tools, agents and sub-agents, HFSQL semantic search, RAG on your own documents, the MCP protocol, speech transcription, as well as costs and confidentiality issues.
Prerequisites (Who is this training course intended for?)
Target audience: WINDEV developers who want to integrate generative AI into their business applications.
Prerequisite: have good working knowledge of WINDEV and of the HFSQL database (data files, queries, browsing). No prior knowledge of artificial intelligence is required.

Detailed Program
The following is the suggested content of this training session:
(This content can be fully customized)
The instructor uses the course materials, which are tailored to the training objectives (the materials are provided at the beginning of the course). This course support material is divided into subjects.
All of these methods and exercises will help you put into practice what you have learned, when you return to your company.
Each subject is based on 3 axes:
The trainer gives a theoretical presentation of the topic, followed by any questions and answers.
Practical application exercise (individual work) to be completed within a set time limit. The trainer remains available to help and provide additional explanations.
Correction of the exercise, with all necessary explanations and any questions and answers. The trainer makes sure that each trainee has fully understood the exercise before continuing.
WINDEV AI 2 days (14 hours)
- Understand how generative AI works and master the associated vocabulary: LLM, prompt, token, embedding, RAG, MCP (topics 1, 7, 8)
- Take advantage of the environment's AI Companion to develop faster and with higher quality (topic 2)
- Choose an AI provider and understand the costs and confidentiality issues according to your context (topics 2, 3)
- Implement the AI Chat control and write a system prompt suited to your business domain (topic 4)
- Create Tools in WLangage so that the AI can act directly on your HFSQL data (topic 4)
- Design autonomous AI agents capable of orchestrating complex background processes (topic 6)
- Implement HFSQL semantic search and RAG to query your own documents in natural language (topic 7)
- Open your applications to the AI ecosystem with the MCP protocol (topic 8)
- Use speech transcription to fill in your application controls by dictation (topic 5)
- Identify the right uses and business models according to your profile: in-house development, IT services company, freelancer (topics 2, 3)
